Finca Tahona has been lovingly restored from a ruin over ten years to create the relaxing retreat that you will find in Lanzarote today.
The property was featured in the Santiago Alemán book Tesoros de la Isla which dates back to the 18th century. Describing the property as an example of an urban house with distinctive rural features to house pigeons, plus a store house and barn for grain storage. Noting also the facade of the house with a pinnacle and cross. The title of the book translates to Treasures of the Island.
Our main entrance was also featured in the Lanzarote arquitectura inédiata Cesar Manrique book.
These are some of our before and after photographs taken during the restoration project.
