Finca Tahona consists of the farmhouse and a cottage which are situated either side of the impressive entrance and can be rented indivdually or together. Collectively Finca Tahona has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 en-suites), 4 living rooms (the library could be a 4th bedroom if required) & 2 kitchens situated in landscaped grounds including a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

The farmhouse has a double & twin bedroom both of which are en-suite plus the library, which is furnished with daybeds and could provide for a third bedroom if required. The property also includes a kitchen, dining room lounge and shower room. The majority of rooms in the farmhouse open onto terraces with garden and pool views.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom opens onto a lovely bougainvillea lined terrace shared with the kitchen and dining room. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable super kingsized iron framed bed and two substantial pieces of rustic furniture for storage. The en-suite is has a wonderful free standing Victorian bath, perfect for sharing with a loved one or chilling whilst reading a good book & sipping a glass of wine.

Dining Room

The master bedroom opens internally into the spacious dining room. This room connects to the kitchen and easily seats six at the fabulous glass dining table, which has a wooden wheel feature built in. An antique chaise longue beckons on the other side of the dining room, just the place to put your feet up for a siesta after a heavy meal.

Bedroom Two

The twin bedroom is situated off the dining room which is furnished with two single beds, dressing table and wardrobe. The en-suite is equipped with a walk in power shower.

Kitchen

The kitchen is a lovely square shaped room with a central island accessed off the dining room. The window has views down to the swimming pool and patio doors lead to the master bedroom / dining room terrace. Fully equipped for family and group dining the cooker has a double oven, grill and no shortage of ceramic hobs to be creative with. There is a full sized free standing fridge & freezer.

Library

The library has a really cosy feel and could be easily be utilised as a third bedroom making use of the two single day beds. A shower room is situated in the corridor connecting this room to the lounge, complete with a storage area for extra belongings.

Lounge

The lounge has a wonderful eclectic mix of furniture to seat the largest of groups from antique to modern leather sofas. The room opens out onto a terrace above the swimming pool, with patio furniture. A wood burner sits in the corner with a basket of kindling ready to give a warm glow in the winter. Entertainment includes television with English speaking channels & WiFi internet access.

It’s a delight to wander around the farmhouse, there’s so many little details that draw your eye including family heirlooms and memorabilia which have been lovingly collected and passed down through the generations.

The farmhouse is available to rent at €160 per night (minimum stay 5 nights).
